Firefighters from the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department, along with two instructors from the 435th Construction and Training Squadron, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, take a break after performing technical rope rescue training from the top of 120-foot water towers Sept. 4, on RAF Mildenhall, England. An average of four rescue classes are conducted per year at the CTS site in Ramstein, and two mobile classes per year are held throughout U.S. Air Forces in Europe. In addition to the high-angle rescue training, firefighters also learned techniques including incident management system, ground support for helicopter systems and operational risk management.
