U.S. Africa Command is co-hosting the West Africa Religious Affairs Symposium (WARAS) alongside the Ghanaian Armed Forces from July 14–16, bringing together military religious leaders from across West Africa to strengthen spiritual readiness, deepen regional partnerships, and foster ethical unity.
The primary objective of the symposium is to cultivate enduring institutional bonds and establish shared frameworks that ensure service members have the robust spiritual and emotional support required to remain resilient and mission-effective during demanding operations.
