Portland Rose Festival and Portland Fleet Week are a celebration of the sea services, with Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen from the U.S. and Canada making the city a port of call.
Portland Fleet Week wrapped up June 12, 2022 after a span of five days of festivities that included public ship tours, Navy Band Northwest performances, and Portland Rosefest activities including the Grand Floral Parade, Royal Rosarians Knighting Ceremony, and even a small carnival.
PORTLAND, Ore. – Sailors assigned to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40) were greeted by members of the Navy League of the United States, Portland Council, during a welcome party at the Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, Oregon for the kick-off of Rose Festival Fleet Week, June 7.
