Vibrant Response is a U.S. Northern Command-sponsored field training exercise for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high-yield explosive consequence management forces designed to improve their ability to respond to catastrophic incidents.
What exactly does a man-made disaster look like and how do you prepare for the worst? The answer is Guardian Response 17 which takes place at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (MUTC), not far from Butlerville, Indiana. It is facilitated and planned by the 78th Training Division and the 84th Training Command, U.S. Army Reserve.
