From 12-16 May 2025, United States Marine Corps Training Command executed a service-level Marine rifle squad competition aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico in order to determine the most proficient rifle squad within the Marine Corps. Over the course of 72 hours, rifle squads will be presented with unfamiliar and complex problem sets that require live fire and supporting asset solutions to solve. Rifle Squad performance will be evaluated with codified performance and evaluation standards tied to the USMC Infantry Training and Readiness Manual.
