Panama will host participants from multiple nations, including the United States, for the PANAMAX 2026 exercise Aug. 3-14, 2026. The goal of PANAMAX is to provide participating forces an opportunity to conduct combined security and stability operations, enhance interoperability, and strengthen their ability to plan and execute complex multinational, all-domain operations. The field-training exercise will focus on a coalition response to a notional scenario and will leverage a holistic, integrated approach against simulated threats to the Panama Canal and the region.
