Chief petty officer (CPO) selectees salute the ensign as the national anthem is played aboard USS Constitution while the ship gets underway from Boston, Aug. 31. Sailing under her own power for the second and final time in 2007, USS Constitution made 3.5 knots using six sails manned by more than 150 CPO selectees. At 209 years old, USS Constitution is the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world.
