Pfc. Kane Briggs, an infantryman assigned to C Company, 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, takes a knee to pull security in a village north of Baghdad on Nov. 17. Paratroopers with C Company traveled to the village from Camp Taji to gather information concerning recent attacks in the area. The 2nd Brigade is the last brigade in Baghdad and is facilitating the withdrawal of U.S. military forces from Iraq. Briggs is a native of Medical Lake, Wash.
