Two Iraqi children hug each other and giggle in front of an armored vehicle in a village north of Baghdad on Nov. 17. With the U.S. Army's mission spanning the last eight years in Iraq, the sight of Soldiers and military equipment is commonplace for Iraqi youth. Infantrymen assigned to C Company, 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, traveled to the village from Camp Taji to gather information concerning recent attacks in the area. The 2nd Brigade is the last brigade in Baghdad and continues to partner with Iraqi Security Forces to facilitate the withdrawal of U.S. military forces from Iraq.
