Lt. Gen. Frank G. Helmick, deputy commanding general, United States Forces-Iraq, salutes the American flag as the national anthem is played Oct. 20 during the 4th Infantry Division’s color casing ceremony at Contingency Operating Base Speicher, Iraq. Helmick and other military officers attended the casing ceremony, which marked the conclusion of the division’s 13-month deployment and the completion of the United States Division-North mission in northern Iraq.
