Maj. Gen. David G. Perkins, commanding general of the 4th Infantry Division, responds to questions during a media interview Oct. 20 outside a hangar at Contingency Operating Site Speicher. The interview was conducted after the 4th Infantry Division’s color casing ceremony, which marked the conclusion of a 13-month deployment to Tikrit, Iraq. Perkins acted as the commander of United States Division-North since last November.
