Full military honors are presented as a team of U.S. service members transport the remains of a fallen service member to Hangar 35 on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii during a repatriation ceremony June 17 for three fallen Americans. Two of the remains were from the WWII period, while the other is from the Vietnam War period. The Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command, which is responsible for searching, recovering and identifying remains of fallen U.S. service members from past conflicts.
