Norman, 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Ga., is named champion of the NCO division of the combatives tournament by combatives instructor Staff Sgt. Jonny S. Shepherd, NCO Academy, Fort, Lee, Va. Norman, a native of Casper, Wyo., represents USASOC in the 5th annual NCO/Soldier of the Year "Best Warrior" competition. Shepherd is a native of Burgaw, N.C.
