Waddy (BDUs), 32nd Army Air & Missile Defense Command, Fort Bliss, Texas, and native of Philadelphia awaits his first contest in the combatives portion of the 5th annual NCO/Soldier of the Year "Best Warrior" competition. Waddy is representing FORSCOM in the competition and is competing for Soldier of the Year. He went on to win the SOY portion of the combatives course. Photo by Sgt.
