Sgt. 1st Class Matt Doyle, of Canby, Ore., holds his daughter prior to a demobilization ceremony for members of the 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Oregon Army National Guard, April 30, in Tigard, Ore. Doyle, a member of 141st Brigade Support Battalion, is one of about 100 soldiers who returned after nearly a year deployed to Iraq. Nearly 2,700 Oregon citizen-soldiers with the 41st IBCT deployed to Iraq to provide convoy security, force protection, and infrastructural support.
