Lance Cpl. Derick A. Meyer, from Beatriz, Nebraska, fires at a target during Table 3 of the Combat Marksmanship Program Sept. 24 at the Central Training Area. Table 3 is the intermediate portion of the CMP, which incorporates pivot drills, movement drills, headshots, controlled pairs, hammer pairs and “failure-to-stop” drills.
