Marines aim at a training target prior to completing Table 3 of the Combat Marksmanship Program Sept. 24 at Camp Hansen. The training provides a more realistic rifle firing experience than firing the known distance courses of Tables 1 and 2. The quicker firing pace at unknown distances combined with firing while moving better prepares Marines for combat. The Marines are with various units assigned to III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Pfc. Cedric R. Haller II/Released)
