U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Michael Martin, combat engineer officer, Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 172, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), cuts into a platform with a concrete saw during an airfield damage repair practical application at Canon Air Defense Complex (P111), near Yuma, Ariz., Sept. 20, 2014. MAWTS-1 provides standardized tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications to support Marine Aviation Training and Readiness and assists in developing and employing aviation weapons and tactics.
