    Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron-1

    U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Heidi Lorenz, combat engineer platoon commander, Marine Wing Support Squadron 372, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), provides an airfield damage repair brief to Aviation Ground Support students and instructors, participants of Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) Course 1-15, at Canon Air Defense Complex (P111), near Yuma, Ariz., Sept. 20, 2014. WTI is a seven-week training event hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) cadre. MAWTS-1 provides standardized tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications to support Marine Aviation Training and Readiness and assists in developing and employing aviation weapons and tactics.
