The Marines are preparing for Korean Marine Exchange Program 14-12, a regularly scheduled bilateral training exercise that consists of military operations in urban terrain, combat lifesaving techniques, basic breeching and a combined arms live-fire event with ROK Marines to increase interoperability between the two forces. Wallenstein is a Queens, New York, native and executive officer of 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force. Hardy is a Plymouth, Indiana, native and maintenance management specialist with 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, II MEF.
