Marines fire their M45A1 close-quarters battle pistols from short range Feb. 9 during a pistol qualification course at Marine Corps Base Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. The pistol qualification course was conducted at the end of a small-arms live-fire package. The Marines are reconnaissance men with 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
