Cpl. Peter E. Kober fires an M4 service rifle during a small-arms live-fire package Feb. 5 at Marine Corps Base Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. The package covered weapons tactics and retaught the Marines over subjects such as proper hand placement, sight picture, different positions they will be shooting from, transition drills, live immediate action drills and pistol work. The package ended with a pistol qualification course. Kober is a reconnaissance man with Company B, 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
