Local Iraqi business owners work from a shop located in Abu T'shir's Market street in the Rashid District of southern Baghdad. Soldiers of the 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division -- Baghdad, visited local shop owners and businesses in Abu T'shir, Aug. 9, 2008, to identify patrons elligible for microgrants, small sums of money intended to help Iraqi business owners maintain their shops and marketplaces. The microgrants are designed to help Soldiers build better relationships within the community while stimulating growth in the local economy.
