Lance Cpl. Matthew R. Jones, an amphibious assault vehicle crewman with Assault Amphibian Battalion, from Madison, Ill. receives his citation from Brig. Gen. James W. Lukeman, the 2nd Marine Division commanding general, for earning the Marine of the Quarter for 2nd Marine Division from April through June 2013 during a morning colors and awards ceremony Aug. 22, 2013. Other awards Jones was given include a 2nd Marine Division plaque, a pocket knife and a glass trophy.
