U.S. Soldiers render honors during a wreath laying ceremony in honor of fallen paratroopers during the National Airborne Day celebration in front of the Airborne and Special Operations Museum in downtown Fayetteville, N.C., Aug. 24, 2013. The event marks the 11th observance of the day President George W. Bush proclaimed Aug. 16, 2002, the day to nationally recognize the U.S. Army’s first airborne operation 63 years ago.
