Dining facilities across Fort Hood competed in the anual Thanksgiving decorating and food competition November 25, 2025. The facilities had one night to prepare the their specific Thanksgiving meal, bake their competing cakes and decorate their entire facility. Judges included III Corps Command Sergeant Major John McDwyer and III Corps Deputy Commanding General Andy Cox. (US Army video by III Corps Spc. Bowden Drake-Deese)
