The 36th Engineer Brigade advanced Army Transformation efforts by integrating DARPA’s RACER semi-autonomous vehicle into a recent live-fire exercise. The Robotic Autonomy in Complex Environments with Resiliency system, powered by Overland AI, navigated rugged terrain to transport a 1,000-lb. MCLIC to its firing point. By removing Soldiers from high-risk movement corridors and enabling precise, remote delivery of mission-critical equipment, RACER demonstrates how emerging robotics can enhance safety and effectiveness in contested environments.
