The Marshall Center, in cooperation with the Ted Stevens Center for Arctic Security Studies, co-hosted the High North Security Dialogue in September 2025 to convene regional experts working on solutions for interoperability and strengthened deterrence on NATO’s Northern flank.
U.S. Army Maj. Mathew Hefner, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, joined the dialogue as a tactical expert to highlight capability gaps and inform policymakers on the practical needs of warfighters operating in the Arctic.
The Marshall Center–Ted Stevens Center partnership highlights the Department of War Regional Center network’s ability to link regional expertise, expand security cooperation, and amplify U.S. and Allied priorities.
