"GET TO THE CHOPPER!" On August 12th, 2025, 2-8 CAV and 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1CD, executed a high-tempo air assault exercise. Infantry Soldiers rucked from their motor pool to the pickup zone before sprinting to UH-60 Black Hawks. Flying in tandem over Lake Belton, the aircraft delivered the Soldiers to their destination, where they rapidly dismounted and pressed on with field exercises.
