In early 2024, former Quartermaster General and CASCOM Commanding General, Major General (R) Rodney Fogg sat down with Lieutenant General (R) Arthur Gregg, to capture, for posterity, his life story. This interview covered his challenges, experiences and insights that offer invaluable wisdom to the Army Sustainment community and Army leaders as a whole.
This is Part 13 of a 23-Part series.
In Part 13, General Gregg successfully finishes out his command of Nahbollenbach Army Depot and works in the G-4 at the Pentagon. Soon after he is promoted to Brigadier General. He makes immediate impact after being assigned to the Army and Air Force Exchange system HQ in Munich, Germany, where he streamlined the process for soldiers and their families to efficiently acquire goods and services, and was able to slim down and consolidate depots across Europe. He also sees the opportunity to do the right thing by building relationships and taking charge as Community Commander.
