Soldiers with 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division and British Soldiers from the Black Watch, 3rd Battalion, Royal Regiment of Scotland (3 SCOTS), The Royal Artillery and the Irish Guards begin movement to the aerial port of debarkation in Alexandria, Louisiana, May 1, from the Joint Readiness Training Center in Fort Johnson, Louisiana. Soldiers will conduct air assault missions from the APOD into the JRTC training area to simulate simulate large-scale combat operations to build readiness to support globally deployable missions.
