The 142nd Wing held a change of command ceremony on Portland Air National Guard Base, Portland, Ore. Dec. 2, 2023. During the ceremony, Col. Todd Hofford relinquished command of the 142nd Wing to Col. Michael Kosderka. The tradition of a change of command ceremony is to allow service members to witness their new leader assume the responsibility and trust associated with the position of commander.
