U.S. Marines with 2d Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, conduct a movement to contact during the Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation (MCCRE) with support by fire from U.S. Marines with Alpha Battery, 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, June 5-14, 2023. The purpose of the MCCRE is to properly train and assess the readiness and capabilities of the 2d Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment Marines in preparation for deployments.
