Colonel Joseph H. Stepp IV, relinquished Command of the 145th Airlift Wing to Colonel Marshal T. Haylett on May 7th 2023. The ceremony was held at the newest C-17 hangar at the Charlotte Air National Guard base on Sunday of the May drill weekend. The Change of Command is a time-honored tradition that allows the passing of the torch from one Commander to the next.
