U.S. Soldiers from 6th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division (6-1 CAV), facilitates an Iraqi Army Best Squad Competition, a 4-day event culminating April, 28, 2010, with the final four events and a trophy presentation for the contest's winning squad at Texan Base near Kirkuk, Iraq. 6-1 CAV coordinated the event to provide its Iraqi partners with individual and squad level training to improve the Iraqi Army's capabilities as they continue to take the lead in security operations for the country.
