The 23rd Expeditionary Bomb Squadron deployed to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility during a Bomber Task Force mission on Sept. 4, 2022. Two B-52H Stratofortresses were deployed for this BTF mission and were airborne for almost 22 and a half hours. Deploying from RAF Fairford, U.K., the B-52s were escorted by regional partner nations, enhancing regional stability and security through a show of combined strength and capability.
