U.S Airmen assigned to the 354th Air Expeditionary Wing download AIM-120s from multiple F-35A Lightning IIs during Agile Combat Employment training at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, June 8, 2022. Ammunition Airmen trained uploading and downloading munitions in a less familiar environment. ACE operations and exercises are designed to teach and validate new ways to deploy and maneuver assets during a crisis or conflict to operate in contested environments.
