In honor of the month of the military child, U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart held a 5k, called "Be a Hero." As part of the fun run, participants of all ages dressed up as superhero. Master Sgt. Will Smith, U.S. Special Operations Command Africa sergeant in charge of logistic operation, expressed his appreciation to military children. David Patterson, 12 years old, explained how the event made him feel. Noah Janecke, 11 years old, shared how pleased he felt.
