211201-N-JX182-1001 SAN DIEGO (Dec. 1, 2021) The Honorable Meredith Berger, performing the duties of the Under Secretary of the Navy, and David Hochschild, Chair, California Energy Commission (CEC), signed a Memorandum of Understanding renewing cooperation between the Department of the Navy and the CEC for another five years. This partnership supports the Navy and Marine Corps installation efforts to address energy resilience issues, climate initiatives, fossil fuel reduction, greenhouse gas reductions, water consumption, and alternative fuel vehicles.
