NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Italy (Sep. 3, 2021) - U.S. military personnel on Naval Air Station Sigonella conduct a medical evacuation for an Afghan evacuee child during Operation Allies Refuge Sep. 3, 2021. NAS Sigonella is currently supporting the Department of State mission to facilitate the safe departure and relocation of U.S. citizens, Special Immigration Visa recipients, and vulnerable populations from Afghanistan.
