The Washington National Guard’s 176th Engineer Company based out of Snohomish, Washington, partnered with the city of Rogue River, Oregon to build their new Rooster Crow Park. The site will be the home for the town’s annual Rooster Crowing Contest. The project was made possible through the Department of Defense’s Innovative Readiness Training program. The program matches certain military units to various infrastructure construction and improvement projects around the country. The 176th will be in Rogue River through the end of July.
