Spc. David Bannavong of C Co., 898th Brigade Engineer Battalion talks about his experience and the benefits of competing in Signal Stakes, June 15, Camp Murray, WA.
Soldiers demonstrated their expertise and effectiveness, competing in teams during a final validating event. Each team tested on required tasks, including OE-254 broadband omnidirectional antenna setup, radio retransmission, tactical satellite communications, high-frequency communications, satellite transportable terminal setup, command post node setup, network configuration, and a signal board.
