5th Civil Engineering Squadron firefighters demonstrate how they train Airmen during the harsh North Dakota winter months on Feb. 19, 2021 at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. Due to the inclement cold weather, the pumps inside the firetrucks tend to freeze over, thus creating the need for simulators that replicate the experience of driving a firetruck and operating firetruck pumps to create close to realistic teaching scenarios.
