On 20 Jan 10, the 2nd HHC, 2-325, 82nd Airborne, C Company load up trucks filled with much needed food and water and set up a collection point at a soccer stadium that has been turned into a shelter for those who lost their homes from the earthquake. As the 82nd Airborne was handing out supplies outside, the US Navy in conjunction with the World Food Program and the Red Cross flew supplies of food and water directly into the stadium.
