On Jan. 19, 2010, a search and rescue team with Virginia Task Force-One of the Fairfax County Urban Search and Rescue, check a medical clinic building for any survivors. The medical clinic collapsed onto an adjoining elementary school as a result of the
magnitude 7.4 earthquake that hit the Haiti on Jan 12, 2010. A scent dog searches the rubble for any scent of life. No survivors were found. Fairfax County Search and Rescue has been continuously performing search and rescue operations throughout the Port au Price area since arriving in Haiti.
