Lt. Gen. Laura Richardson, the commanding general of U.S. Army North, visits University Hospital, Newark, N.J., April 20, 2020. Eighty-five medical professionals, part of the Army Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force 332-1, were sent to help supplement the staff during the ongoing fight against the coronavirus pandemic. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, is providing military support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help communities in need.
