Soldiers assigned to the Javits New York Medical Station (JNYMS) care for COVID-19 patients in the facility’s intensive care unit. JNYMS, which has been operational and caring for non-COVID-19 patients since March 30, began providing medical care for patients with the virus April 3. Soldiers from the 44th Medical Brigade deployed from Ft. Bragg, N.C., Ft. Hood, Texas and Ft. Campbell, Ky. in support of the Department of Defense COVID-19 response.
