The Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) General Todd Wolters lights the Christmas tree for the first time with Commander, Base Support Group, Colonel William Jacobs and the Mayer of Malmedy, Jean-Paul Bastin, December 5, 2019, SHAPE, Belgium. The holiday tree is donated to SHAPE every year by the town of Malmedy, as a token of appreciation for liberating the town during WWII.
