The Iraqi Ministry of Defense’s elite force, the Qwat al-Khasah, Arabic for Special Forces, conduct a two-night culminating exercise at the Taji Military Complex, Iraq Nov. 5-6, 2019. The soldiers received intelligence that assisted them in planning and executing the missions. The QK specialize in raids, seizing, clearing and holding terrain for limited durations and conducting reconnaissance, counter-insurgency or counter terrorism operations.
