Every four years, the World Military Games is organized by the Conseil International du Sports Militaire, or CISM. This year almost 10,000 military athletes are participating from 109 nations in Wuhan, China, and the atmosphere is similar to the Olympic Summer Games. The CISM motto is "friendship though sports" and athletes get to know their counterparts from other nations through more than competition. They exchange pins, clothing, stories and experiences -- sometimes forging life-long friendships.
